BAND 7 ER Manager for a NHS in Hertfordshire (12 months Contract)

Your new company

A large NHS trust require a BAND 7 Employee Relations Manager to join their highly experienced and successful team.

You will join a large NHS trust, who provide a range of services across the local area. This is a diverse and supportive NHS trust who help to improve the lives of thousands of patients locally, and your work will have a direct and positive contribution to this.

Your new role

You will join Workforce and Organisational Development department and be responsible for the provision of a first class advisory service on individual employee relations issues. You will also provide expert, robust advice and support to Employee Relations Advisors and line managers on a range of human resource management issues including, but not limited to, individual employee relations issues such as discipline, grievance management, poor performance and attendance, workplace dispute management and change management, ensuring that the service provided is consistent with defined quality standards.

You will play a key role in supporting the review and development of workforce policies, procedures, tools, training and quality improvement systems.


What you'll need to succeed

The organisation is looking for a CIPD qualified HR Professional who has significant experience of dealing with high volume complex employee relations cases as well as policies, service improvement, training provision and reporting. You will have solid experience in staff management and great communication skills. You need to be able to influence, negotiate and persuade. You will have great analytical and organisational skills.
