In order to support DMU on its ambitious journey, the People and Organisational Development Directorate have some exciting new opportunities in the HR team.
Recently restructured to meet the requirements of our ambitious agenda, we have opportunities at team leader and senior advisory level. Candidates must be suitably qualified, have an infinite desire for service improvement and exemplary customer service skills, be able to balance the need for robust HR/Payroll advice with pragmatic business focussed solutions and be able to work with key stakeholders. Knowledge of HE is desirable but a pride in delivering high quality services is essential to meet the needs of our ambitious and growing university.

Role
Full time, however a Job Share will be considered.
Acting as deputy for the HR Services Manager, you will provide advice and support for the Services Team. You will ensure legislative requirements and service level targets are met, whilst continually improving the quality of service provision. You will develop a responsive customer contact service and develop modern processes that enhance the customer experience at DMU.
Ideal Candidate
With a sound technical HR background, you must have the ability to translate policy into processes and implement robust systems to manage and track performance. Continual improvement is at the forefront, so experience of service improvement is essential. This is a busy service area, with wide ranging customers, so the ability to remain calm under pressure, whilst delivering high quality customer services is critical.
