Job Details

The legal services sector is going through fast-paced and dynamic changes, and The Law Society is focussed on the current and future needs of the profession. We are looking for an experienced HR Business Partner to join us at this exciting period of change, to support both the organisation's Shaping Our Future programme and be part of our HR function transformation journey.

Working closely with the business, you will enable the achievement of business objectives through the development and implementation of creative, innovative and appropriate HR strategies and plans which support the People Strategy.

You will be a key driver to support the transition and embedding of our HR Business Partner framework and the move to deliver a more tailored HR operational support provision locally.

Providing advice to Directors and Managers, you will be confident in challenging and empowering them in all HR related aspects of their work, including coaching on complex casework and providing a strategic HR perspective to support workforce planning and business development.

Acting as a change agent to guide our people and managers through organisational change, you will create and forge trusted successful relationships which build credibility with stakeholders and deliver success.

You will be an experienced MCIPD qualified (or equivalent) HR Business Partner, with sufficient breadth and depth of HR technical capability to enable sound judgement, decision making and the provision of business focused solutions. With previous experience of working in a challenging, multi-functional environment you will be confident, resilient, culturally aware and have the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team. You will also have a track record in organisational development and change management and have a strong understanding and passion for diversity and inclusion.

Interview date: Monday 10th December 2018.
