Absence Management and Operational HR Business Partner Job, Edinburgh, Full Time, 8 Months

This is a progressive employer in the Financial Services industry located in Edinburgh City Centre.

Your new role
You will support your new employer through a period of increased Absence being reported, acting as a support agent for managers handling back-to-work processes, and liaising with Occupational Health providers to establish a reliable process, aimed at improving stakeholder experience during long-term absence as well as minimising the risk to the organisation.

This is an interim role expected to run to July 2019, during which you will have the opportunity to research, advise and implement various strategies linked with absence management, working with other areas of the wider HR team to establish an effective approach. You will also work operationally with regard to case management of absence cases, including communications with the Employee Relations team where appropriate. This may involve managing contract terminations.

What you'll need to succeed
You will be an established HR professional with demonstrable experience in Absence Management and general HR Case Management. You will have strong inter-disciplinary communication skills, relying on a generalist HR knowledge foundation to support your decision making.

You will be immediately available or on a short notice period in Edinburgh, able to pass stringent background checks in line with working in Financial Services.
