HR Strategic Workforce Planning Specialist – c£65-75k including benefits – Birmingham

This is an excellent opportunity to join a market leading organisation in a newly created role to develop (from scratch) and implement the strategic workforce plan that encompasses short term (less than 1 year), medium term (1-3 years) and long term (3 years plus) through a detailed understanding of the business plan and deliverables.

Key aspects of the role include:

Create, develop and implement an integrated workforce planning model and approach

Create forecasting and capacity models

Collaborate/liaise across key stakeholders in HR; Data, MI & Systems; Finance & Business Managers; OD; Resourcing; Programme/Project teams; external vendors

Prepare headcount planning reports

Provide recruitment forecasting intelligence

This is a standalone role and the successful candidate will have extensive skills in:

- MS Excel including using formulas and features – V Lookups, pivot tables, dashboards and macros

- HRIS systems experience

- Analysis – sourced from data, statistics, modelling

- Communication – delivering complex information via briefs, reports and presentations
