Domain Manager - Learning Services
Level G + Sunbury
Could you give our business the best possible Learning Services?
At BP we’re striving to meet growing global demand for safe, sustainable and affordable energy. That means creating a more efficient, streamlined business that makes the best possible use of all its resources, including human resources.
We’re evolving every part of our operation to transform the way people connect, work and make time to think. And Learning Services plays an important role in this. By ensuring this function is performing at its best, you’ll help our global HR team to drive business progress.
About the opportunity
As a Domain Manager, you’ll aim to provide the business with the best possible learning services. That means
managing Demand Planning, Session Scheduling, Session Advertisement and Enrolment, Session Delivery and Support, Customer Service Support and Reporting through your Delivery Leads. They’ll be part of a team of 30 to 40 people, who’ll look to you for support, leadership and professional management.
You’ll also have the chance to drive Continuous Improvement initiatives, leading a community of practice across our Regional Delivery Centres. This key part of the role calls for innovative thinking to enhance processes, technologies and service enabling tools. You’ll then work closely with colleagues to make sure that these changes become Business As Usual. Meanwhile, you’ll build close links with BP University Academies and organise the Domain’s QA and Business Continuity Plans.
About you
A skilled team leader who’s worked in the learning domain, you’ve got a proven ability to deliver great customer experience. You’ve honed your expertise in a shared services centre, making the most of analytics and inspiring large teams to perform. Crucially, you have a real interest in new trends in the learner experience field. And you apply this innovation to enhance business performance. Digitally fluent and degree-educated too, you’ll lead by example and make sure our business strategy is integral to all you do.
To be part of our team, you also need the ability to build strong relationships; not just within HR, but across the wider business and cultural boundaries.
