Your new company

Your new company is renowned in the Wigan area for its presence and reputation in the world of manufacturing. An easy commute from the local areas, this company is now looking for an interim HR manager to oversee the HR function to a period of improvement and success for a fixed term period.

Your new role

Your new job will involve coaching and mentoring line managers in HR-related function such as employee relations issues and support, helping maintain the company's compliance with government legislation, MI and KPI reporting in order to strategise improvements. A large part of the job will include employee engagement and retention as well as engagement and negotiation with Trade Unions.

What you'll need to succeed

You will be a true HR generalist with proven expertise in all areas of employee relations. You will have experience of working in a similar environment as well as experience in dealing with trade unions. You will preferably be a CIPD qualified professional or have substantial experience within the HR function, a self-starter and up to date on employment legislation.

What you'll get in return

Our client is offering salaries of over £38000 depending on experience, pension scheme and more.
