Part time HR Adviser Job paying £17-19p/h

Your new company
You will be working for a pioneering not for profit organisation that has national and international influence. The organisation currently has a head count of below 30 nationally and they are growing progressively. The nearest station to the organisation is Old Street/Liverpool street so you will have good transport links.

Your new role
As a HR Adviser you will be reporting into the Head of finance and the purpose of your role is to develop and maintain the HR function to ensure that the values are reflected by a first class HR Service. On a daily basis, you will be required to provide generalist support to the employees of the organisation. You will take lead on advising them on general queries they may have and you will advise confidently on policies and procedures. one of your key responsibilities will be to create a handbook to support employees on everyday life cycle issues therefore you must demonstrate excellent working knowledge on legislation and changes within the world of work. Another one of your responsibilities will be to advice on the recruitment process for new staff and consultants who work for the organisation. You will be required to be proactive and upskill managers on the end to end recruitment process so they can start to do it themselves. Finally you will be required to support with general issues and employee relation cases which may arise so previous experience leading on a range of cases is highly desirable.

What you'll need to succeed
Previous generalist HR knowledge is essential for this role because you will be expected to work well independently as you will be the only member of HR based onsite. You will also have to display excellent working knowledge of employment legislation because you will be required to advise employees and produce a handbook which demonstrates best practise polices. This is a part time opportunity for 2-3 days per week. Interviews are likely going to be conducted between Wednesday 28th- Friday 30th November with a start date of 3rd December.
