Description

Overall

The HR Change Project Lead role is a key role in driving & delivering organisational change across the Manufacturing site. The role will lead the people element of our change agenda, supporting a broader project team and site leadership team to simplify the organisation structure whilst driving a performance culture and enhancing associate engagement. The role is generalist in nature with a high level of employment and industrial relations within a unionised environment.

Key Responsibilities:

* Provides expert knowledge to the local management and the project team on managing local labour relations (unions, works councils etc.)
* Work with local managers in dealing with front line associate issues, including the management of performance management, disciplinaries, grievances, absence and queries around shifts/compensation and benefits.
* Project lead and end to end delivery of all ER and Industrial Relations knowledge, ways of working and roll out of practises.
* Coordinate & implement the specific HR processes needed within the scope of the organisational change.
* Deliver and support the individual people impact as we move through the change project.
* Support, coach, train & partner leaders and associates through change.
* Work closely with the Union, Project Manager, Legal Manager to ensure transparent communication and clear understanding.
* Monitors compliance of local HR policies, procedures and documentation with local regulations and proactively flags issues of non-compliance.
* Work with project team to streamline grading and role responsibility.

* Proven experience of delivering organisational change.
* Experience in a Manufacturing environment.
* Expert knowledge of employment relations and previous experience of working with trade unions and industrial relations processes and approach.
* Proven project management experience.
* CIPD qualified or working towards.
* Degree level education - ideal.
* Can do attitude to roll up sleeves and get into the detail.
* Excellent communication skills.
