The Council has a 2022 blueprint for success and a programme of transformation activities to get us there; including a new civic centre, digital by default, service redesign and the development of our organisational culture. The structure and delivery of the Human Resources service has been reviewed to ensure that the organisation and our people are supported, developed and engaged throughout this change. Its an exciting time to join a new team and as a number of new roles have been created to lead these developments and support new ways of working across the Council. We are looking to recruit a HR Analyst to support a specialist team and the wider HR function and is an excellent time to join as the role will provide opportunities to be part of significant projects.
The postholder will oversee and develop the work of HR in maintain an agreed establishment and related data such as job roles and job evaluations, will work closely with other colleagues to ensure a consistent approach to HR data and quality, will produce specific and regular management reports and apply analytics whilst also responding to HR related FOI and SAR request.
To be successful in this role you will have good knowledge/experience of working in an similar role ideally in a local authority. You will have experience and confidence of handling complex data and interrogating it and be able to make good use of your advanced excel skills and also having a good understanding of employment law and GDPR.
