The Head of Learning and Development is a key role in the delivery of our workforce objectives and we are looking for a senior learning and development professional with a track record of success. The post holder will lead the learning and development and postgraduate medical teams. Key responsibilities include:

  • design and delivery of learning and development programmes to develop a skilled and competent workforce
  • leadership of in-house management training and development including coaching and action learning sets
  • design and delivery of leadership development and other senior skills development programmes
  • enabling achievement of Trust’s workforce KPIs e.g. appraisals, induction and mandatory training

You will have a CIPD qualification or equivalent qualification, experience of identifying learning and development needs for different staff groups, experience of designing and delivering learning and development interventions and a track record of delivering of excellent workforce performance.
