Starting on the 3rd of January, you will be responsible for five sites across the Great Yarmouth area with a portfolio of 340 employees.

This will be a really busy role with lots of variety. Every day will bring new challenges and opportunities. Key responsibilities will include providing HR support service within agreed performance SLAs and acting as the guardian of HR policies and procedures within the region. You will also provide first line guidance on effective recruitment processes and support the development of effective HR processes. There will be an opportunity to support and coach business leaders to effectively manage employee relations issues that arise relating to discipline, grievance, attendance and performance management matters. Also to provide expert HR knowledge and project management support on any change management situations that arise, particularly in relation to transfers, including but not limited to restructure, redundancies and TUPE. Other areas of responsibility will include reward and training for your sites.

You will have high levels of professional integrity and outstanding employment law knowledge to be able to inspire confidence among your stakeholders. You will be able to confidently share your experiences of leading a complex and varied caseload of HR cases from start to finish achieving successful outcomes. Resilience, and being able to work autonomously alongside a national HR team will be paramount. Experience of working in a unionised environment will also be highly advantageous. You will be encouraged to improve performance and deliver outstanding results through new, innovative and more effective ways of working.
