This is a fabulous opportunity for a Global Diversity and Inclusion Manager to join, a global security and aerospace company that employs approximately 98,000 people worldwide and is principally engaged in the research, design, development, manufacture, integration and sustainment of advanced technology systems, products and services.
This is a newly created role offering flexibility to work from any UK site - Bedfordshire, London, Whiteley, Havant, Helensburgh, Bristol. There will be a requirement to travel internationally upto 40% of the time.
As the business continues to grow internationally, they are looking for an experienced D&I leader to develop, harness and execute programs across their business. They have major employee presence in the United Kingdom, Australia and Canada and are entering new markets such as Saudi Arabia and many countries within Central Eastern Europe.
The selected candidate will be a member of the Global Diversity and Inclusion (GD&I) Team and will drive the development, implementation and alignment of strategic GD&I objectives and initiatives across International locations. Whilst overseeing international diversity and culture initiatives, they will aid in making the organization best in class and advancing a culture of inclusion. The candidate will also serve as the link to US colleagues and drive a consistent approach to their corporate diversity and inclusion strategies and initiatives internationally.
In this role, the individual will be the local diversity and inclusion expert, resource and partner to the Global Human Resources Team (GHR), international leadership team and employees on issues regarding culture, diversity, inclusion and equal opportunity programs.
To be successful, you will need to have international experience as a diversity and inclusion leader with in-depth knowledge of diversity best practices, concepts and programs. Additionally, you will have demonstrated ability to define and deliver diversity and inclusion results internationally and align to meaningful business outcomes.
