Our client is a well-known player in the national utilities market.
Description
This influential E-Learning Consultant role is part of a new team in Reading which focuses on being at the forefront of innovative, and fit-for-purpose digital training. You will design and deliver digital learning solutions, meeting business requirements and timeframes. This will include:
* Creating storyboards, scripts, learning content and assessment material for new e-learning modules.
* Creating online, engaging and interactive digital solutions to meet business need using e-learning software such as rapid development tools, images, graphics, video, audio, webcasts, podcasts, charts and other multimedia formats.
* Evaluating existing curriculum or teaching materials and converting to digital content in line with best practice methodologies.
* Modifying content for use on other platforms, such as mobile phones, operational tools (tough books).
* Making sure security measures are in place to control access and all relevant policies followed.
* Producing and maintaining detailed and accurate key content and project documentation including content outlines, storyboards, assessment material, asset lists and transcripts during the project lifecycle.
* Leading on course planning and development to ensure that the provision meets the needs of learner and stakeholder i.e. employers and HE institutions.
* Implementing, configuring, and maintaining mandatory online learning courses.
Profile

* You will ideally have extensive knowledge of digital and e-learning training solutions.
* Experience of working closely with stakeholders to transform the ideas of business experts into digital content that is useful and available across the business.
* You will have the ability to build, develop and maintain constructive working relationships across the business in order to understand and implement best practice and latest thinking; as well as to develop appropriate strategies.
* Excellent planning and communications skills are required, and strong analytical capabilities are crucial, particularly in tackling critical situations and implementing improvements.
* To understand our plans, challenges and requirements the ideal candidate will come from a similar, complex organisation providing a technical, operational service.
