HR Manager

A successful business is looking for a HR Manager to take responsibility for developing and progressing all aspects of HR service delivery within a defined business unit.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced HR Manager to own relationships, process and initiatives across the business whilst helping to develop the HR offering as the company grows. Other key accountabilities will include:

Review, develop and define HR policies, process and procedures.
Ensure that HR policy, practice and procedure is understood and implemented throughout the business unit.
Ensure the Performance Management process is adhered to and monitored regularly.
Ensure the development of HR policies and standards is supported by effective research and intelligence regarding legal considerations, general trends and best professional practice.
Adapting existing processes (e.g. end of probation process, annual appraisal, salary review etc…) to achieve greater alignment to overall goals, vision and values.
Coach managers in HR practice e.g. interview and appraisal techniques and conducting effective absence review meetings.
Managing the employee relations issues, organisation wide.
Keeping up-to-date with changes to employment law (updating internal policies and procedures as appropriate).
Working with Line Managers to identify the competencies for roles and how these will be tested at interview.
Assisting in the development of structured interviewing processes to ensure consistency, legal compliance and ensuring the most suitable candidates are selected.

The successful candidate will be CIPD qualified as a minimum and demonstrate excellent up to date HR knowledge with particular emphasis on developing Performance Management capability. You will be adept at managing change and working in an ever developing landscape, where demonstrating flexibility and the commercial acumen to move with the business are clearly evident in your background and achievements.
