Your new role
This is an exceptional opportunity to join a highly credible forward thinking organisation based in Andover. The role is initially a 12 month fixed term contract with a view to go permanent thereafter. My client is looking for someone to start asap. After this role has become permanent it is highly likely that our client will offer CIPD study support.

Main Purpose

To assist the Human Resources Officer provide end to end generalist support to the employees through providing accurate and timely administrative resource ensuring that all times this is carried out in a professional and confidential manner.
Issue weekly internal vacancy announcements;
Liaise with the web team to ensure that the careers page is accurately maintained;
Acknowledge all applications received within 24 hrs of receipt
Carry out all day to day HR administrative duties in including sickness and holiday records, ensuring that all work produced is accurate and of a high standard of presentation.
Liaise with the Accounts Department in respect of information provided for payroll and employee benefits
Provide support to the HR Officer as directed to include receiving and screening incoming calls
Reply to HR enquiries with standard letters or by compiling responses ensuring that these contain high standards of grammar and spelling. Ensure that all electronic and paper HR records, including those of past and present employees, are well maintained and accurate at all times.
Coordinating the new starters induction programme
Ensure that HR records, and both HR and Payroll information systems, are maintained correctly.
Where appropriate, support the HR Officer with initial investigation, co-ordination and documentation of investigative and disciplinary hearings.

What you'll need to succeed
Experience of working in a similar HR role.
Good knowledge of UK employment legislation
Qualifications in English, Maths/Arithmetic.
Ideally have obtained the Certificate in Personnel Practice.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Outlook and Excel to Intermediate skill level
Strong administration and organisational skills
