HR Officer - Financial Services - 12m FTC - £34,000-£40,000

Your new company
An exciting 12m FTC has arisen working as an HR Officer for a global financial services firm based in London. In this role, you will be reporting to the Head of HR.

Your new role
As an HR Officer, you will be responsible for overseeing the entire employee lifecycle and acting as the first point of call for all HR-related queries. You will be assisting with the recruitment function, offering first-line ER advice, managing the on-boarding and off-boarding process, and tracking all employee changes. Furthermore, you will be overseeing the payroll function, and will be responsible for communicating all employee changes to the central payroll team. As an HR Officer, you will also gain exposure to managing maternity/paternity cases, and will be required to produce reports around sickness and absence leave.

What you'll need to succeed
To succeed as an HR Officer, you will have experience working in a similar HR role within the financial services sector. You will have been responsible for overseeing the entire employee lifecycle, will have assisted in running monthly payroll, and will have updated and maintained employee information on an HRIS to a great level of detail. Additionally, you will have assisted with the recruitment process and the entire on-boarding process.
