Temporary HR Adviser job paying £18-22p/h

You will be working for a healthcare charity based in East London.
Your new role
As HR Adviser you'll be working in a small HR team and overseeing the smooth day-to-day operations of the HR function. This role will suit a flexible and innovative HR professional as a large part of the role will be about developing new and efficient ways of working. You will also be overseeing the recruitment and on-boarding processes by providing expert advice on recruitment, especially in digital roles and advertising best practice, monitoring time taken and cost of recruitment and identifying opportunities to speed up the process. As well as managing recruitment, you will be responsible for Managing day-to-day routine HR casework matters such as employment relation issues, performance issues, advising managers on policy and good practice and supporting them to manage their teams and providing employees with advice and guidance as appropriate. Additionally, you will also be responsible for overseeing the processing and associated administration of the outsourced monthly payroll for c.75 employees, working with the HR Administrator. This includes the production of the necessary paperwork and the collation of audit evidence of changes. This is a temporary role for a period of about 2 months with the potential to go Fixed Term until August 2019.

What you'll need to succeed

* CIPD qualified or part qualified
* Up to date employment law knowledge
* Knowledge of up-to-date HR best practice and thinking and understanding how to apply this in a user-friendly way
* Understanding of digital skills
* Knowledge of organisational change management, and cultural change
* Knowledge of a variety of HR and payroll systems
* Knowledge of recruitment best practice and direct advertising methods
* Knowledge of workplace health and safety legislation and payroll legislation

You must be immediately available or on a one week notice period because you will be required to start on the 2nd January 2019. This is a temporary role with the potential to Fixed Term until August 2019. What you'll get in return
