Hays are delighted to be working exclusively with a client on the Essex/Herts border who are looking to appoint a HR Business Partner for their UK business. This role will be supporting a client group of 180 and will be working closely with the senior management team. The position will also require the person to work as part of the wider global team and will include some project management. Ideal candidates will be part/fully CIPD qualified and ready to take full responsibility for HR activities and one team member. Key responsibilities:

* Recruitment and onboarding processes.
* Co-ordinate local training initiatives.
* Manage the UK payroll administration process and routines.
* Drive and co-ordinate the local employee review process and salary review process.
* Support processes in accordance with UK employment legislation.
* Manage local and global HR projects.
* Review and implement HR processes which meet the needs of the organisation.
* Internal communication and implementation of key HR initiatives and programmes i.e. engagement survey, employee recognition programme, global HR system and compensation models etc.
* Oversee our annual global engagement survey process encouraging employee engagement and ensuring continuous improvements are identified and actioned.
* Drive succession planning for key positions.

The successful candidate will possess the following:

* Educated to degree level and CIPD qualified.
* Minimum 5 years operational HR experience ideally gained within an international environment with cross functional responsibilities.
* Experience of UK employment law.
* Project Management capabilities with a business oriented outlook and ability to analyse and think strategically.
* Ability to operate with speed, take ownership and work as one team.
