Your new company
Based just on the outskirts of central Preston, your new employer is well established within the manufacturing industry and happy to welcome a skilled HR coordinator to their growing team on a permanent, full-time basis to support them on site at their headquarters. This employer is keen to reward and develop an aspiring HR professional within their business
Your new role
You will be reporting in to your Senior HR Advisor providing comprehensive administrative support to the wider team surrounding the current change projects underway. Your responsibilities will range from onboarding new starters, preparing paperwork surrounding the full employee life cycle from talent acquisition, offer letters and welcome packs through to contracts, induction and exit. You will be preparing HR metrics throughout the year on matters such as absence and/or holiday systems. You will be assisting with maintaining the HR database and performing regular audits as well as supporting the payroll department with agency workers and supporting your line manager in employee relation cases.
What you'll need to succeed
The successful candidate will ideally have HR experience within a coordinator or similar capacity and accustomed to fast-paced, challenging environments and will have previously worked alongside blue collar workers within a HR function. You will preferably have or be working towards CIPD level three with the desire to progress to an advisory level. You will have previous experience with recruitment processes and HR systems as well as demonstrable skills with Microsoft packages.

Our client is offering a competitive wage of £19-£23k depending on experience with a salary review upon successful completion of your probationary period as well as a comprehensive benefits package and generous pension contribution.
