New year, new job, new challenge? We have vacancies available in our award winning Organisational Development Team. At Lancashire Teaching Hospitals we take organisational development seriously, as a result we are expanding our team to deliver our new ambitious Workforce and Organisational Development (OD) strategy. Make 2019 your year and join our team to take your career in a new direction.

We are looking for an experienced, confident and able individual who has deep knowledge and expertise in developing organisation wide interventions and delivering strategic system wide leadership development programmes to senior audiences.

This new role reflects the commitment the Trust gives to organisational development and how it is seen as an enabler and solution to tackling the wicked challenges faced across the NHS. The Workforce and OD team has recently had Board level approval for their 3 year strategy which places OD at the core including strategic aims for cultural change, talent management, succession planning, leadership and management development, attraction and retention. Our new strategy has ambitious plans to help support the organisation to be one of the best places to work in the whole NHS, this is reliant on a talented individual joining our team to support an already dynamic, award winning, motivated and creative team to build further on their successes and deliver tangible performance improvements.

We are looking for applications from individuals who are able to demonstrate they can make a difference and have proven experience at bringing about cultural change, designing and delivering a wide range of OD interventions which includes senior level leadership development, selection and assessment, facilitating team development to teams with multifaceted needs, through to leading culture change projects. We want a strong compassionate and inclusive leader, who has an engaging communication style, an able coach, who is visionary, utilises a consultancy approach, delivers under pressure and to time and is always focussed on evaluation to provide a  proof of impact.

If you think you have got the full package and want to work in an organisation which is friendly, team focussed, developmental, innovative and who really values OD then we would love to hear from you!

For an informal conversation about the post, please contact Louisa Graham, Deputy Director of Workforce and OD on 01772 52 4609. Please note the closing date for this post is 18th January 2019. Interviews and assessments will take place on 1st February 2019; successful candidates will need to be available for the full day, we will be unable to offer alternate interview dates. As part of the selection process for this post all shortlisted applicants will be asked to complete a number of activities both during the day and prior to attending, further information will be provided if successful at this stage.
