An interim Pensions job to design and implement pension programs and processes in support of business goals

Your new company
A large technology organisation in Farnborough. Due to structural change, an interim Pensions Manager is required for an ongoing period.

Your new role
The role will design, develop and implement pension programs, policies and processes in support of achieving business goals on sound commercial terms.
Act as Trustee secretary and manage all meetings, advice and training for the Trustee Board.
To act as lead on all pension and related deliverables, to keep abreast of current developments in the pensions market and provide strategic advice as required.
Work with business leaders, Trustees, HR and advisors to develop pension solutions appropriate to the Workforce over the medium to long term.
Manage executive pension and risk benefit arrangements and be conversant with Annual and Lifetime Allowance concerns and possible solutions.
Ensure that all pension schemes operate effectively and meet performance and quality targets and are compliant with industry and regulatory standards.
Manage pension scheme advisers and administrators to achieve SLAs in response to member requests etc. and be the escalation point for queries.
Be the subject matter expert and respond to HR, business and finance queries and requests for support in relation to pensions (e.g. M&A, TUPE etc.).
Arrange Trustee and sub-committee meetings, prepare and issue meeting agenda and papers, draft minutes and issue to the Trustees & advisors and manage actions arising


What you'll need to succeed
Strong interpersonal skills including relationship management and an ability to influence though collaboration.
Exceptional analytical ability with a systematic, logical approach and a highly developed problem solving ability.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to deliver complex projects whilst managing conflicting priorities.
A self-starter able to work in an unstructured environment.


What you'll get in return
Up to £60K doe, plus on site parking and the potential for a permanent position.
