An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced HR Officer to join the professional HR team at The Grammar School at Leeds. This is a very busy generalist role, which covers all aspects of operational HR services for some 400 staff and managers, and up to 200 volunteers/casual staff. The role consists of providing advice and support to line managers and staff in line with HR policies, procedures and legislation.
We are also looking for someone experienced in carrying out salary calculations, with a mind for problem solving and logical thinking, coupled with advanced excel skills. Attention to detail and accuracy are key, as is the ability to communicate effectively face to face and in writing, with a range of people.
