At the Crown Prosecution Service we’re responsible for delivering justice through the independent and effective prosecution of crime. As the principal prosecuting authority across England and Wales the nature and diversity of cases we advise on and prosecute means our work is often emotionally challenging and complex. As such our service employs almost 6,000 individuals who think objectively, act professionally, show the upmost respect for others and continually strive for excellence.

You’ll support the strategic direction and delivery of business priorities through a strong L&D solution focussed approach, ensuring the changing needs of the business are met. You’ll have a partnership approach to collaborating with business stakeholders as well as across the HR function. You’ll be able to identify and translate complex business learning requirements into specific learning programmes or interventions. You’ll be comfortable working with complex programmes and projects, with an ability to bring clarity and set expectations to your team through strong leadership skills with an agile delivery ethos.

Your L&D background will show a broad but in-depth understanding of identifying, developing and implementing strategic learning and development solutions particularly with a keen focus on leadership and management development. You will be proactive in developing strong relationships with business colleagues and demonstrate the value add of a strategic L&D partner to the business. You’ll know how to lead, manage and coach team members to provide a quality service to the business putting the learning experience and organisational impact at the heart of what you do.
