HR Advisor

We have an exciting opportunity for a motivated, empathetic and experienced HR professional to join us as HR Advisor and further their career within a supportive culture that values collaboration, diversity and empowerment.

The vision that drives us is that refugees and people seeking asylum will be welcome in the UK, will get justice, live free of poverty and be able to successfully rebuild their lives.

Reporting directly to the Head of HR you will advise and support managers and staff on employment law, best practice, and our policies and procedures. You’ll also be responsible for researching new/changing legislation and making recommendations on its implementation.

In this pivotal role, your responsibilities will be varied and will encompass aspects of Employee Relations, Pay and Reward, Induction and Recruitment and Learning and Development.

A strong communicator with an open and reflective approach, you will have the ability to build and maintain excellent working relationships. You will also have:

• Experience of advising managers on a range of HR practices
• Experience of developing HR practices, policies and systems
• A working knowledge of UK employment law sufficient to assess risk and advise senior managers on HR issues
• CIPD qualification or equivalent.
