Superb opportunity for an experienced Reward Specialist to be based at my clients Head Office in Middlesex. This role will involve occasional travel across the UK.

Joining during an exciting period of change and reporting into the new Head of Reward you will work to deliver the Reward agenda, ensuring the company is positioned competitively to attract and retain talent.

Key accountabilities will include;

* Providing advice to the UK Human Resources team and Operations Managers on general remuneration issues and external market trends.
* Undertake the management of all external salary benchmarking activities and participate in salary and labour market surveys to determine prevailing pay rates and benefits.
* Co-ordination and facilitation of the annual pay review across all areas of the business.
* Develop a fair, equitable, and competitive total compensation package that is fit and aligned to the company's strategy and business goals
* Implement a communications strategy to ensure that all employees are aware of the various elements of their reward and apply success metrics.
* Ensure that compensation practices are in compliance with current legislation, conduct periodic audits and prepare reports.
* Lead day to day activity in managing UK employee benefits proposition (i.e. healthcare, group life assurance, PHI, personal accident , company car scheme ) and recognition programmes.
* Educate both the business and HR colleagues on the grading process and roll out of remuneration programmes
* Provide advice and recommendation on individual salaries to ensure that consistency and equity is managed appropriately to bands, levels across the organization
* Differentiate pay systems to invest in the segments of workforce that contribute the most value.
* Interface with Payroll and the Shared Service Centre to ensure the successful and timely implementation of reward initiatives
* Support employees with benefit related queries
* Take the lead in managing the day to day relationship with benefit providers
* Complete other tasks and activities as reasonably required within the confines of the role

Skills required;

- CIPD qualification desirable

- Graduate Calibre with relevant work experience in a Compensaiton and Benefits role

- Experience gained in a multi-site organisation with the ability to understand the business at a local and national level

- Understanding of internal grading systems. Hay Job Evaluation Training advantageous
