The RSC is looking for an experienced Organisational Development Manager to join the HR department on a fixed term contract basis for 12 months.

As O.D. Manager, you will be responsible for designing and implementing organisational development and change management strategies, processes and interventions that build on our reputation as a leading-edge theatrical Company.

You'll be required to provide well-judged advice, guidance and support to facilitate culture change in a way that balances pragmatism, sensitivity and innovation in a large, culturally complex environment, split across different sites in Stratford-upon-Avon and London.

You'll lead on implementing a number of key frameworks, which include;

  • A simple and effective performance management framework.
  • A bespoke behavioural competency framework.
  • A modern, efficient, fit for purpose Company-wide appraisal process.
  • A personal development plan for all staff, including creative and non-creative staff groups.
  • Supporting our approach to retention, talent management, succession planning and employer of choice status, through the development of a talent management strategy, a staff skills audit, development of a coaching/mentoring scheme and project managing a staff survey.

The ideal candidate will be CIPD qualified or have equivalent professional knowledge gained through significant experience working as an O.D. specialist. You must be able to demonstrate up to date knowledge and best practice in change management, developing organisational culture, management development and talent management.

You'll have a track record in delivering successful Organisational Development projects that support organisational change and deliver high levels of performance and improvement. We're looking for someone who can positively influence, build relationships and work collaboratively to achieve results. Strong communication skills, commercial awareness and a solution focused outlook are essential for this role. Reporting to the Director of Human Resources, you'll join a busy, dedicated team, who place importance upon combining delivering positive outcomes with enjoying what we do and working together.

You'll be working 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with the understanding that additional hours may be required to fulfil the responsibilities of the role.
