Your new company

My client is a highly successful business to business service sector organisation with an impressive heritage and high profile portfolio of clients.

Following continued business growth, they now have an opportunity for an experienced HR Coordinator to join their team based out of their Crewe Head Office.


Your new role

Working with the HR and Training Manager and other members of the HR and L&D team you will to deliver excellent HR admin and advice to managers and team leaders on employee relation matters.


* Provide day to day operational and admin support to the HRBP's, L&D Officer and Head of HR and Training
* Provision of initial HR advice to managers and team leaders on employee relations matters
* Coordination and management of relationships with third parties where appropriate- e.g. agencies supplying temporary and permanent staff
* Maintenance of the time management system- including production of appropriate reports for payroll etc.
* Primary responsibility for all administration involved in the employee life cycle to ensure appropriate records, correspondence and other documentation is created and stored in accordance with legal requirements and best practice- including GDPR. Preparation and issuing of employee correspondence (e.g. offer letters, contract changes, maternity etc.)
* Coordination of wellbeing and engagement projects including research into potential new suppliers
* Provision of support to the L&D Officer- including collation and coordination of the Company's appraisal system
* Administration of a range of employee benefits including Employee Development and Assistance
* Compilation of statistics and handling of requests for information- e.g. staff turnover
* Provision of support to the HRBPs in dealing with a range of employee relations matters- including:
* Absence management- e.g. scheduling return to work interviews and associated administration
* Performance management- e.g. preparation of associated documentation, tracking of progress
* Grievance and disciplinary- e.g. preparation of information, supporting managers and HR in meetings
* Recruitment support



What you'll need to succeed


Prior knowledge and experience of working within a HR team CIPD qualified or part-qualified


* Ability to multi task and be flexible
* Employment law knowledge
* Ability to prioritise and work to strict deadlines
* Excellent communication and telephone skills
* Ability to draft letters and memos
* Excellent organisational skills
* Understands the importance of confidentiality and professionalism
* Methodical, accurate and pays meticulous attention to detail
* High level of literacy and numeracy
* Good analytical skills
* Ability to work as part of a team and on own initiative
* Basic knowledge of Health & Safety (desirable)

Good IT skills and knowledge & experience of the use of MS Office based packages


What you'll get in return

The role attracts a competitive salary of c£22,000-£24,000 plus an excellent benefits package including enhanced pension and holiday entitlement and a flexible wider benefits offering.
