A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced HR Manager to join Broadacres Housing Association located in Northallerton.

This role is an amazing opportunity for someone to lead the HR function of this ambitious organisation as they progress through their cultural transformation.

They own and manage over 6000 homes across North Yorkshire and provide a range of services, such as extra care schemes, a woman’s refuge, young homelessness accommodation and services for people with learning disabilities and mental health issues.

Over the next five years we will be developing new homes, investing in our existing homes and ensuring their service is focused on delivering excellent customer experiences.

Investing in our people to ensure we have the skills to deliver an aspirational strategy will be key to our success and the HR Manager will be vital to them being able to achieve their vision of ‘being the best rural housing association in the country’. 

The role:

Your role will be to manage the overall HR operation and ensure the organisation provides the best support to all colleagues.

To lead and manage the delivery of a professional, proactive and customer focused operational HR service that provides full employee life cycle support to all colleagues.

Lead and manage the HR Team to deliver excellent customer focused services providing accurate, timely HR analytics to help support business workforce planning decisions.

Build effective stakeholder relationships and work in close partnership with senior management to help develop and deliver a people plan.

Keep up to date with UK employment legislation and continually maintain and develop the colleague’s commitment and compliance with HR and Employment legislation.
