You will be partnering a great team, the digital specialists who build and maintain the online platform for one of the UK's best loved retailers. Strategically vital, high profile and working in an ever changing environment, this talent needs to be actively supported and managed and that means you'll get the opportunity to have a real impact. The focus of this role is on strategic talent management and development (rather than employee relations) and you'll be involved across the employee lifecycle including: inductions, L&D design and delivery, talent data analysis, job evaluations, coaching, researching workforce requirements etc. This is a chance to both define and deliver talent solutions as you'll get autonomy to make decisions and to use your HR creativity.

This is a great role for someone looking to develop their HR career and there's plenty of opportunity for professional development so we are not necessarily looking for someone that has experience across the entire role, but, more someone with potential and a solid platform to build from. You will need a good academic background, experience as an HR generalist or talent/L&D specialist working with digital populations. You will be able to demonstrate a good understanding of talent management practices in a corporate environment (and be keeping up to date with current thinking on the topic). You'll be someone that people come to for advice and you won't shy away from having an opinion.
