HR Manager

Our client provides life saving services, while building futures by working with others to reclaim land contaminated with the debris of conflict, reducing the daily risk of death or injury for civilians, and to create safe and secure conditions for development.


Description

Operating as HR manager / business partner, you'll provide support to senior managers, acting as a trusted adviser on complex people and performance management issues, change processes, compliance and risk. You will also have the opportunity to develop HR policies and strategic projects and add value that will assist in decision making and the delivery of our clients lifesaving work.


Profile

You will need to have experience of managing and delivering HR services. Previous experience of working in International HR is not necessary, but you will need to rely on your sound project and people management skills, as well as knowledge of employment law and ability to interpret and apply it. This is a fast-paced role and challenging role, which will require high levels of initiative, pro-activeness and strong multi-tasking skills. With an ability to lead, motivate and develop a small team, ensuring effective communication between various stakeholders, you will be a creative, flexible, solution-focused HR professional committed to MAG's goals. CIPD qualification is essential, as is experience gained in the charitable, NFP or similar sector.

Starting salary for this position on a full-time basis is £37,452 pa (plus contributory pension)
