About you: -
Our client is searching for a rare and mythical creature but they truly believe they are out there somewhere! They are doing things differently and that includes in HR (they don’t even call it HR anymore) they never stop innovating but the operational work also needs to be managed and their service delivered to the high standards their customers have come to expect and they now need another HR professional to help them with this.
The person they are looking for will have a level 7 qualification in HR and be (as a minimum) a chartered member of the CIPD. They will have previous experience within a senior HR position and will be able to demonstrate experience managing employee relations case work.
They are pushing boundaries with innovative approaches based on sound HR knowledge and a clear understanding of their different business areas and their needs. Essentially you will have to be all things to all people, build credibility and great relationships with business managers at all levels of the organisation. They guide and support with sound advice based on legal and best practice principles, however they don’t tell managers what to do, the decisions ultimately sits with them.
They are commercial but ethical, they treat people fairly and with respect but in return they believe people should act reasonably and be accountable. Rapunzel and Sleeping beauty need not apply as they do not have the need for anyone in an ivory tower, nor anyone who wants to sleep their day away unaware of the world around them.
Their main office locations are in Devizes, Andover, Salisbury, Poole and Wells and the role requires that they support at any of these locations as business needs dictate, the role is required to be truly flexible in its delivery and therefore the post holder is required to hold a full driving licence and have use of a suitable vehicle for business purposes and importantly the ability to travel to any of their work locations as needed.
Additionally during the first three months within the role there will be the need to work closely with the rest of the team in order to fully understand the role and how they deliver their service to their customers, therefore you will need to work from their Wareham office up to three days per week initially.
They know that the thought of applying for a career changing role is not something easily achieved at this very busy time of year so their closing date is 27th January 2019, if you love HR and people and you are a star in your current HR role and organisation but have been thinking for a while there must be a better/different way, they would love to hear from you.
