Job Details

Artis HR are currently recruiting for a Home based / Regional HR Consultant to join an extremely exciting Financial Services Organisation, this role is paying £40,000, £6,200 car allowance or car + a bonus of up to 25% which is extremely achievable and an excellent Benefits package.

We are looking to for someone to cover London, East and South East England, East Anglia down to Brighton and central London.

Main Purpose of the Job:
To deliver an HR consultancy service to the Partnership as part of a dedicated consultancy support team. Region: Home based Location:

Key Responsibilities:
*Analyse and recommend strategic and practical plans to address employment-related issues within Partner practices, guiding implementation as appropriate.
*Support Partners in identifying a 'back office' organisational structure which facilitates effective working practices and supports future growth of their businesses through their people and processes.
*Highlight potential challenges in implementing proposals for change and provide options and solutions to those challenges.
*Coach/provide information and guidance to Partners/Practice Managers regarding all aspects of the employment lifecycle, including but not limited to recruitment, induction, performance management, disciplinary and grievance, redundancy, pay/bonus reviews, learning and development, engagement, succession planning, absence, ill health/disability etc.
*Coach/provide guidance to Partners/Practice Managers in dealing with complex, sensitive and/or high-risk employment issues which might have been escalated from Practice HR Consultancy Advisers, particularly in relation to workplace changes e.g. redundancy, policy changes, business to business sales etc.
*Design, develop and deliver engaging learning materials/training events to Partners/Practice Managers/Partnership Development Managers (and others) as required to equip them with the skills and knowledge to manage employment-related issues in their Practices;
*Work closely with the Field Management and Head Office teams to share best practice, to ensure alignment in supporting Partners and to coordinate/improve services to the Partnership;
*Act as conduit between Partners and Head Office to ensure the development and delivery of products and services are driven by Partners' current and future needs;
*Refer Partners to expert sources of help and support which is outside of the Practice HR Consultancy Team specialism e.g. Partnership Recruitment, Legal, Marketing, Business Assurance, Technology etc.
*Keep up to date with external trends, best practice and developments in HR and more broadly so that this learning may be applied to developing services to the Partnership and the team;
*Organise and attend events/workshops to ensure Partners/Practice Managers and colleagues are well informed and aligned in respect of current/future employment and associated legislation and people management best practice.
*Lead/support various projects related to the goals of the Practice HR Consultancy team and/or PSS Interface team, either on own or supporting other colleagues;
*Represent Partner interest at a corporate level to ensure the Partner 'voice' is heard.

Required Skills:
*Passionate about delivering customer focused, best practice, pragmatic HR solutions which add value to Partners' businesses
*Confident communicator and skilled influencer who quickly engages with, and builds effective working relationships at all levels and across a diverse range of stakeholders
*Experience of providing good quality information and guidance on a wide range of complex employee relations issues, identifying and advising upon the associated risks involved
*Experience of identifying learning needs, and designing and delivering engaging development solutions and materials to meet those needs
*Experience of leading complex HR projects, change and/or transformation programmes
*Creative thinker/problem solver who takes a pragmatic approach to problem-solving and decision-making
*Applied coaching skills
*Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise and manage workload with minimum levels of supervision
*Resilient, flexible, able to work under pressure when required and comfortable with ambiguity
*Applies emotional intelligence to a diverse range of people and situations
*Knowledge of current thinking in HR issues and trends and evidence of continuing professional development
*Experience of contributing to and/or leading HR projects, change and transformation programmes

Required Technical Knowledge & Qualifications:
*CIPD qualified (ideally MCIPD) or demonstrable equivalent experience in an HR Business Partner capacity, HR consultancy or business management role
*Credible generalist HR experience gained from delivering results within a collaborative and partnership focused role with multiple senior stakeholders
*Skilled in using MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook Special Requirements:
*Able to travel regularly and stay overnight occasionally
