Were seeking an HR Officer to join a growing an innovative manufacturing business in Poole, Dorset

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced HR Officer / HR Coordinator who has a strong HR generalist background to join a growing and innovative manufacturing business in Poole.

You will be working on a manufacturing site as a stand alone HR Officer working with the Site Manufacturing Director to provide a comprehensive HR service across HR, Advice and support.

Reporting to a Regional HR Manager and international HR Director you will be delivering a range of HR activities across the full employee life cycle for the site to achieve business objectives. A key theme for the business in the coming years will have a focus on employee development and succession.

Therefore this is an opportunity for an HR professional to develop the HR presence on the manufacturing site, building relationships and full generalist HR support.

Key Tasks

* End to end recruitment - Agency and permanent
* Offer letters and contracts of employment
* Oversee induction and onboarding
* Coordinate monthly payroll data to ensure accuracy transferred to payroll team
* Manage employee benefits
* Coordinate annual salary review
* Contribute to the supporting documentation templates
* Maintain HR Systems, employee data
* Develop and maintain training information for site and support the delivery of training on site
* Support activities for employee workforce councils
* Oversee/coordinate apprenticeships
* Working with the Regional HR Manager on all employee relations matters, undertaking investigations, interviews and supporting managers with grievances, disciplinary, attendance, sickness and performance ensuring accurate recording within the system.
* Reporting - Head count, absence, turnover, performance, rewards, and ER cases.
* HR projects

We are seeking a confident and experienced HR Officer with a full background of HR transactional employee life cycle and HR advisory support for policy, benefits, process and guidance to managers. This role could suit an HR Administrator looking for a new challenge to step up or an HR Officer / Advisor with a solid HR admin background who is seeking a role supporting a manufacturing site.

* CIPD level 3 - Desirable level 5
* HR Adminstration / HR transactional experience - Employee life cycle
* Recruitment experience - both temporary and permanent
* Collation of Payroll data for processing with Payroll team
* Ideally experience of employee relations / employment law / GDPR
* Ideally experience of manufacturing / FMCG or similar environments useful but not essential
* Confidence, attention to detail and ability to work independently with the Managers of the site with direction from the Regional HR Manager

30 Hours Per week - Either 4 days or over 5 days
25 days holiday
Life Assurance @ 4 x base salary from day 1
