Position: HR Adviser
Salary Range: £30,000 to £35,000 per annum
Contract type: Permanent, full time, 37.5 hours per week
Reporting to: Head of Human Resources
Location of this position: Cambridgeshire Hub
Astrea Academy Trust is in an exciting period of growth and development. To support our ambitions, we are seeking to recruit an experienced HR Adviser to work flexibly across our growing Hub of Cambridgeshire academies.
With already four academies in Cambridge, the Trust is looking to grow this Hub considerably and you will play an integral role in providing TUPE support across the Hub during this growth. You will also provide expert support on the full HR remit, including policy implementation, trade union liaison, investigations, hearings and case work, as well as contributing towards the delivery of key HR projects. This is a truly unique opportunity where you will be able to demonstrate your full range of skills and experience in a supportive and truly forward thinking organisation.
With demonstrable experience of working as a HR Adviser, preferably in the Education sector, you will be able to work autonomously, using your own initiative to manage multiple tasks and prioritise your workload to meet the needs of the Trust. The ideal candidate will have demonstrable experience of working effectively with Principals, Line Managers, Trade Unions and other key stakeholders within the Education sector or equivalent. The need for excellent attention to detail and consistency in providing exemplary customer service is essential.
You will ideally be CIPD qualified and of graduate calibre, you will have a solid HR generalist background gained from working in a regional multi-site role. Customer focused, self-motivated, proactive and organised you will have the ability to manage a mix of operational and project work. With strong communications skills, you will be confident and concise in advising and supporting managers on a diverse range of issues.
