My client are a global blue collar national business based near Maidstone.


Description

* Drive best practice for the site in regards to HR policies, procedures, and compliance

* Work in liason with the Senior Leadership Team to deliver best service on site

* Develop and align the people plan with business plans

* Provide ongoing support on site to line managers on ER case work including grievances, disciplinaries, performance reviews, and absence management

* Carry out adhoc support to other HRBPs with change management initiatives

* Coordinate and oversee the payroll process

* Conduct inductions for new starters

* Organise and manage maternity, paternity, unpaid leave and flexible working

* Pro-actively get involved with employee engagement surveys

* Utilise HRIS to generate HR reports

* Support the Shared Service Centre and manage the full recruitment process

* Maintain up-to-date knowledge of changes in employment law

* Head up the talent development initiatives

* Support the delivery of HR projects


Profile

* You will be CIPD Level 5 qualified or above
* You will be up to date with UK employment law and legislation
* You will ideally be degree educated
* An employment law qualification is highly desirable
* Previous experience working in a similar HR role is highly desirable
* You will be flexible to cover both London and Kent site
* Experience working with a multi-site blue collar organisation with various stakeholders is highly desirable
* Experience dealing with all levels of ER cases
* You will have previous experience working in a unionised environment is highly desirable
* You will have used HRIS systems or similar


Job Offer
