HR & Learning Advisor

21.75 hours per week

(to be worked over a minimum of 2 full days with flexibility on the remaining hours)

Grade 7 - £13,866 - £15,277

We are looking for someone to join our committed, progressive and successful People & Development Team.

Your role will be to co-ordinate and support organisational development activity across the Council including assisting with training needs analysis and facilitating corporate learning and development interventions.  You will be responsible for overseeing our IIP progression including the collation of evidence and will champion apprentice activity across the Council.  You will also provide generalist HR advice to managers on our policies and procedures including attendance and disciplinary matters.

You will possess CIPD Level 3 in HR Practice or Learning and Development as a minimum.  You will have previous experience of working in an HR or training environment and be IT literate including experience of using computerised HR systems.  You will be a skilful and effective communicator, also able to collate and present data in a meaningful way.  You must be a strong, reliable and proactive team player who can work with minimum instruction and meet challenging deadlines.
