Kent and Medway NHS and Social Care Partnership Trust (KMPT) provides mental health, learning disability, substance misuse and other specialist services to 1.7 million people across Kent and Medway. As an employer of over 3300 people, and operating from over 50 sites across Kent and Medway, the Trust is one of the largest mental health trusts in the UK, covering an area of 1450 square miles.

The role:

We are seeking to appoint an exceptional Organisational Development specialist to join KMPT and take the lead in developing and implementing our organisational development and leadership development strategies.

Working closely with the Director of Workforce and Communications, you will be joining us at an exciting time as we continue our journey to achieve cultural change. We are highly ambitious and working collaboratively with other Trusts to take the change agenda forward.

This is an outstanding opportunity for a dynamic, ambitious, forward thinking individual who will bring credibility, experience and drive to the Trust.

The ideal candidate will possess the following: –

  • Experience of strategic development in OD and supporting interventions.
  • Pace and energy in sustaining a high performing and ambitious culture.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, able to influence and work with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Inspirational leadership in order to influence and support sustainable cultural change that will enhance patient centred care.
  • Vision and creativity in approaching opportunities and finding solutions to leadership development, talent management and succession planning.
