We are seeking a highly credible, forward-thinking and self-motivated Strategic HR Business Partner with experience of working in large and complex organisations, ideally with some experience in the HE Sector. Fully CIPD qualified, you will combine a strategic approach to HR with practical and solution focused delivery.  You will have excellent skills in managing complex casework, change management and employee relations as well as the communication skills necessary to be influential and persuade others to adopt best practice. You will have a demonstrable understanding of current legislation and best practice/best fit HR interventions and the relationship between business and HR strategy.

This is an excellent opportunity for a Senior HR Professional looking to broaden their experience and knowledge, working closely with Executive Deans and Directors of Service to achieve the academic, business and operational objectives by driving the people agenda and supporting the UCLan People Plan. You will be an integral member of the HR Management Team, and as a Strategic HR Business Partner you will help to develop, implement and embed leading edge HR policy, procedures and practice, and advise, develop and implement key initiatives; you will have strategic lead responsibility for the development and delivery of specific strategic goals and emerging developments of the HR service.

Working closely with a job share partner, you will ensure a seamless, consistent and professional service to your key stakeholders and areas of responsibility.
