This is a unique opportunity to shape the future of HR in a rapidly evolving global business. It’s an exciting time to be joining us and in this new role, reporting directly to the Finance Director, you'll ensure HR is at the heart of our evolution, enabling growth, supporting strategy and driving our continuing success around the world.

About us

Established in the UK in 1990, Ischebeck Titan is a world-renowned supplier of innovative solutions to the global construction industry. We specialise in in-situ concrete construction, delivering premium products and outstanding service. As a result, we’re involved in a wide range of high-profile projects in the UK, the Middle East and Australia.

About the role

Strategic challenge, global scope and hands-on responsibility - you can expect them all in this brand-new role, developing and delivering the full range of HR services as we continue to grow in the UK and across our international business. Based in our UK headquarters in Burton-on-Trent, you'll have group responsibility for our UK, Middle East and Australian businesses. This means you'll be working closely with senior leaders across our international business to ensure they have the tools they need to create, develop and maintain a high-performance culture. Although the role will be predominantly based in the UK, you’ll be required to travel to the Middle East and Australia as business needs require.

With a focus on talent management, employee relations and learning and development, you’ll play a key role, developing - and managing the delivery of - all HR services to meet our business needs. This includes creating and implementing a global people plan and talent strategy and developing relevant strategies, policies and documentation for everything from employee relations and rewards, to recruitment. As well as advising managers on all aspects of HR policy and managing a range of employee issues.

About you

You'll be an HR Manager with a proven record of delivering excellence across the full range of generalist HR services, from developing strategies and implementing innovative solutions, to managing established procedures. With a reputation for being a knowledgeable advisor and a hands-on achiever, you'll have practical experience of managing all aspects of the employee life cycle, including successful employee relations, talent and performance management processes, learning and development solutions, rewards packages, employee data, and recruitment.

A graduate or equivalent, with a professional qualification in HRM, you’ll have in-depth knowledge of current employment legislation and a strong commercial understanding of how HR can support business objectives. As an articulate communicator, with the ability to build strong working relationships, you’ll need the presence to influence decisions and gain the respect of people across our global organisation.

What we offer

This is a rare opportunity to join an established organisation who are looking for HR to help shape how the business evolves. We’ll encourage you to make your mark, by proposing and implementing innovative and pragmatic HR solutions that support us to achieve our business objectives.

Recognising that this is likely to suit an ambitious high-flyer, who may not be fully rounded as an HR leader, we’ll support you in the role with mentoring from a highly experienced and successful international senior HR professional.

Apply

If you have the energy, drive and generalist HR background to handle a wide range of tasks on a global scale, this is an outstanding opportunity to further your HR career. To apply complete the short form below and send us a copy of your CV and a covering letter that details what it is about this role that excites you, why you consider you have the qualities needed for the role and what you believe you would bring to both this role and Ischebeck Titan.
