Learning & Development Specialist

Your new company
working for a global business who have a head office function in Coventry.

Your new role
This is a newly created role that will be supporting the sales team in offering training to end users (both internally and externally). Based on specific client propositions the training must be tailored to the end users needs.

You will be involved with the creation and delivering of training sessions:

* Create and deliver training to customers and internal sales teams to support the roll out of new Commercial Propositions.
* Develop and deliver training programmes to address existing knowledge gaps to ensure the ongoing success of existing proposition.
* Support the wider Customer Development Team and Sales Teams to develop and implement Commercial Propositions.
* Support the Commercial Strategy to deliver profitable business growth.
* Provide support to their Manager to drive the overall activity plan for Customer Development.
* Utilise customer feedback to support the evolution of the Commercial Propositions and training programme.
* Support the implementation of the go to market plans that have been defined by the Customer Development Team.
* Work cross functionally to define customer requirements.
* Utilise sales tools and reports e.g. CRM system and interfaces to record high quality customer interactions and measure success.
* Build and manage close cross-departmental working relationships and external supplier relationships.
* Work closely with all customer facing teams within Commercial Propositions Sales to ensure that propositions are implemented and managed effectively.
* Use insight from customers, sales teams, the market and competitor activity to support the evaluation & continuous improvement of new and existing propositions.

What you'll need to succeed
This role would suit a candidate who has either been working in an L&D co-ordination role or similar and looking to progress within a fast paced training role OR candidates with training experience keen to make a move to a business that can offer career progression and development.

* Formal training qualifications are desirable but not essential.
* Educated to A level or equivalent, GCSE A*-C English and Maths.
* Experience in the delivering customer focused training solutions across a portfolio of different products/services.
* Strong communication and presentation skills.
* IT literate, familiarity with Webex (or similar) as a channel for delivering training.
* Ability to interpret customer insight and provide a great customer experience.
* Understanding of, or experience working in a, Community Pharmacy or Dispensary is desirable but not essential.
