We’re the leading charity dedicated to creating a world without barriers for deaf children and young people. We’re a friendly and passionate organisation focusing on:
- services received by deaf children and young people
- development of language and communication skills
- development of children’s independence and transitions into adulthood
Our HR and Volunteering team have recently come together in a new People Team. We’re looking for a leader who can bring the teams together, who has the knowledge and experience to make a difference, and has a real commitment to their own continued development.
You’ll be leading and championing the successful delivery of the People strategy, working with key stakeholders and supporting senior managers.
Reporting into the Executive Director – People, Finance and Business Systems - you’ll be the organisation’s HR expert with a broad skill base covering a wide range of HR issues, including learning and development, employee engagement, reward and recognition.
You’ll be providing leadership to the team and focus to a number of cross-organisational projects to support delivery of our strategy. You’ll have excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to influence others and communicate effectively with everyone. Strong written and presentation skills and an eye for detail are a must.
