About us:

Bravissimo is a dynamic, entrepreneurial company which, since its launch in 1995, has grown to a 50m turnover business, with 29 stores and a well-established e-commerce operation. We offer a range of lingerie, clothing and swimwear to fit and flatter women who wear a D-L cup.

Whilst the business has grown, our purpose remains the same as it did in 1995, to inspire our customers to feel amazing about themselves and to celebrate their boobs! We set ourselves high standards and are constantly looking for ways to improve what we do to offer the best experience for our customers. Our people are at the heart of our business and for the last 12 years, we have been one of the Sunday Times Top 100 companies to work for.

We have some ambitious plans within our People and Culture team to support Bravissimo’s growth, and we are looking for a methodical and detailed Payroll and Information Manager to join our team on a part time basis.

About the role:

As our Payroll and Information Manager, you’ll be a key part of our People and Culture team. Reporting to the Senior Business Partner, you will be accountable for the successful management of our payroll process, ensuring that we collect all the correct information for our 830 employees spread across our Head Office, Warehouse and 29 stores.

This will be a data heavy role, so numbers should be your second language. You should be confident with collecting large amounts of data and interpreting this into meaningful information to share with our payroll provider.

Our new payroll process is in the early stages of its development so this is a great opportunity to further shape this process to make it truly fit for purpose. Off the shelf solutions tend not to work for us here, so you need to keep an open mind and allow your experience to guide your solutions whilst also not being bound by ideas of what may have worked in other organisations.

You will also work very closely with our HR system which was implemented last year. We would love to use this system to really get under the skin of our data, generating trends and insight that will support our strategic planning within the People and Culture Team. This will be a key part of this role, so previous experience working with a HR People system is really important. You should also have a good working knowledge of excel as this will play a large part in this role.

Every day will be different! You will be the go to person for everything relating to our employee benefits and you will need to continuously review these to make sure they are the right fit for Bravissimo as well as considering relevant market changes and updates in employment law.

You will be part of a team of 5 which is part of a wider People and Culture team of 11. We’re a small team with lots of plans and ideas, so we all get stuck in and help each other to get things done.

About you:

We are looking for someone with a fantastic ‘can-do’ attitude who is eager to get stuck in to a challenging new role. Experience in managing an end to end payroll process is essential but this could be from any type of organisation. A ‘Manager’ title is not important, just that you have managed the payroll process and have been accountable for its successful delivery.

You should have previous experience working with a HR system at a detailed level, ideally using this to pull and interpret valuable data. You should also have good excel skills and have a natural ability to pick up new systems.

You will also have a natural ability for building great relationships across the business as well as with third party stakeholders. You will work closely with the Senior Business Partner and our Leadership Team, making our data and information accessible and valuable.

We are in a big growth period, so you’ll need to be comfortable with pace and change. The environment is busy but informal so it’s important that you enjoy being part of a team and you’re passionate about what we do.

It is worth mentioning that we are also looking for a People and Culture Business Partner to join the team on a part time basis. If you feel that you have the combined skills to do both of these roles as a full time position, we would also consider this! Make sure you mention this in your application.

If this role excites you, we would love to hear from you. To apply, please send your CV along with a letter detailing why you would like this role, why you would like to work for Bravissimo and your current salary. To submit this, follow the link.
