Part Time - 22.5 Hours Per Week 12 Months Fixed Term Contract

Bravissimo is a dynamic, entrepreneurial company which, since its launch in 1995, has grown to a 50m turnover business, with 29 stores and a well-established e-commerce operation. We offer a range of lingerie, clothing and swimwear to fit and flatter women who wear a D-L cup.

Whilst the business has grown, our purpose remains the same as it did in 1995, to inspire our customers to feel amazing about themselves and to celebrate their boobs! We set ourselves high standards and are constantly looking for ways to improve what we do to offer the best experience for our customers. Our people are at the heart of our business and for the last 12 years, we have been one of the Sunday Times Top 100 companies to work for.

We have some ambitious plans within our People and Culture team to support Bravissimo’s growth, and we are looking for a strategic, forward thinking Business Partner to join our team on a part time basis. The Business Partner role will support our Head Office and Warehouse functions based in Leamington Spa.

About the role

As a People & Culture Business partner, you will be responsible for working with and supporting business leaders to set long and short-term people plans whilst also being a coach and confidant when needed.

Reporting directly to the Senior Business Partner, you will work closely with our Directors and leaders to drive the strategy behind people plans, ensuring that we are doing the best for, and getting the best out of our people. You will generate fresh ideas in line with what’s right for Bravissimo, and drive these forward with your influencing skills, using the People & Culture Advisor to support delivery.

Our purpose is really important to us and the way we do business is unique. It is not unusual that “best practice” options don’t always work for us. You will really have to challenge the way you think and use your knowledge to inform you but not to restrict you in terms of your ideas.

Working with our Marketing and Ecommerce, Creative, Product, Finance, IT, Supply Planning and Warehouse Teams, you will be an influential partner for 5 of our Senior Leadership Team, responsible for the people plans that will impact around 200 team members.

This role will be fast past, varied and challenging and you should enjoy operating in a space where you are not bound by pre-existing ideas and your main direction is to improve the experience to our customers and our employees.

About you

We are looking for an experienced HR professional with high emotional intelligence and a proven ability to provide solutions which raise people experience, performance and loyalty as well as always thinking about the growth of the business.

You will have worked in a generalist role, ideally at a Business Partner level. You’ll have desire to make a difference to our customers and our people because they are what we are incredibly passionate about and are the key to our success.

You may be qualified with CIPD, but this isn’t essential. What is more important is your ability to translate business needs into a people plan and the mindset to develop different tools, techniques and practices that are not always tried and tested. You don’t need experience working for a retail business, you may come from any industry.

You will have the ability to motivate and enthuse others and get the best out of them, and your excellent influencing and communication skills will inspire people at all levels of the organisation.

It is worth mentioning that we are also looking for a Payroll and Information Manager to join the team on a part time basis. If you feel that you have the combined skills to do both of these roles as a full time position, we would also consider this! Make sure you mention this in your application
