The Human Resources Department is seeking an HR Adviser to provide high quality advice and support across designated areas of responsibility within the College but also ensuring a close working relationship with other HR colleagues for consistency purposes. 

Reporting to the Human Resources Manager, this role will promote a positive, proactive approach to human resource management in the organisation, acting as an advocate for open, fair and transparent employment relations environment, working in partnership with trade union representatives and managers to achieve this aim.

You will work closely with managers in the curriculum/business area to ensure a full understanding of their individual business needs, providing support to managers on individual casework and take a lead role with them on behalf of the organisation in managing and mitigating risk.

The successful candidate will hold a CIPD Level 7 qualification in HR Management, be working towards completion, or be able to demonstrate equivalent experience.  You will also have experience of working in a busy HR function, have excellent communication skills, be able to prioritise competing work demands and be able to build successful working relationships.
