This is an exciting opportunity to influence the transformation of services in a large public sector authority.

Focused on delivering innovative HR solutions, you will provide a comprehensive HR service working in the Corporate HR Advisory team, part of People Services, supporting line managers across the whole Council.

HR Advisers have generic job descriptions and may be asked to rotate across strategic HR services as our HR Advisers have transferable skills.                 

The successful candidate will be working as part of a team delivering excellent HR services and providing strategic HR advice and support to a range of internal customers. You will be responsible for managing casework and providing proactive support and advice on a variety of HR issues to meet our customer expectations.    
You will need to be an experienced HR professional able to demonstrate a good understanding of employment/case law. Working in this political environment where change is constant, you will need resilience and flexibility to respond effectively to the needs of our customers.
