Our client is a specialist paper and advanced materials manufacturer in north-west England with a strong ambition to grow in its chosen markets. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a rapidly-growing listed company with more than 170 years of heritage that thrives on innovation. A business of around £100m, it has important market shares in the USA, China, the Far East, Europe and the UK. Our client is renowned globally for colour expertise, dedicated responses to challenging custom projects and award-winning commitment to the highest standards of sustainability. They can also convert paper fibre including single-use coffee cups into paper products and Colourform™ plastic-free packaging.  

In addition to paper products, they also incorporates Technical Fibre Products, manufacturers of non-woven materials from carbon, glass and polymer fibres, which play a key part in production of composites in the automotive, energy and aerospace sectors. 

Our client would like to recruit a HR Business Partner to join their highly successful HR team in delivering expert support and advice as they continue their ambitious plans to grow the business.

This role, which will report to the Group HR Director, will focus on all areas of HR including recruitment, learning and development, employee relations, change management, and performance management. The ability to work collaboratively with all company stakeholders, including senior management and trade union representatives, is extremely important, as is advanced knowledge of employment law.  


Developing a close working relationship with managers, supporting them through coaching and advice that is tailored to the needs and the strategic direction of the business, is a key requirement. 

The successful candidate should be educated to graduate level, be a chartered member of the CIPD and have experience of working in a similar role.
