Interim L&D Consultant - £40- 48k – 12 month FTC – Midlands/London

This professional services organisation has a requirement for an interim L&D Consultant to provide support for a global management development programme. This will be for a 12 month period.

The role is based in central Birmingham with some travel to London, and potentially international travel too.

Background

- There is an urgent requirement across the business to design and deliver an engaging, effective global programme to upskill existing managers to enable them to deliver the people management aspects of their role which is a key fundamental of the People Strategy.

- There is a requirement for an L&D interim who possesses the specific skillset required to enable the delivery of this vital project in a timely manner and to ensure capacity for a full global roll out and on-going evaluation.

Job Purpose

To design, deliver and evaluate effective development solutions to managers, at all levels globally, to enable them to deliver the people management aspect of their roles to the required standard.

Key responsibilities

1. Assist with the design/design a globally applicable manager development programme using the 70:20:10 approach focusing on the key fundamentals of a people manager’s role and responsibilities.

2. To ensure mechanisms for the transfer of learning are embedded into the programme and evaluation up to level 4 is carried out

3. To work with the Head of L&D to formulate and deliver a timely and efficient global roll out programme in line with identified priorities and key business requirements

3. To evaluate, review and iterate the programme based on stakeholder input

4. To provide key MI and data evaluation.

The ideal candidate will have

- Extensive experience of delivering and facilitating the full training cycle in fast paced, agile businesses (professional services experience an advantage). 

- Experience in designing globally applicable manager development programmes and workshops using blended learning methodologies and multiple delivery methods.

- Experience of delivering to all levels from team leader to manager of managers.

- Experience of influencing key stakeholders and gaining buy in and commitment to different ways of working.

- Be CiTP (or equivalent qualification), and ideally MBTI Step 2 qualified.
