This is a great opportunity for an individual with a background in resourcing and talent management to help drive the "people-engine" of the most UKs leading finance consultancy.

This company is at the vanguard of developing new career options for senior FDs and CFOs, offering them opportunities to build a flexible, lifestyle based portfolio or contract career. They provide solutions to the business challenges of both small businesses and large  organisations, and clients include technology, manufacturing, retail, financial services and numerous other sectors, focusing on growth, M&A projects, preparing for exits, IPOs etc

Their key asset and resource are their highly experienced team, their continued success relies equally upon them providing excellent results for clients and interesting assignments for their team. The best people always have a range of options so understanding these, communicating their offer, expanding their team, building strong relationships and securing the talent are the hallmarks of the resourcing manager they seek.

You would be joining a fast moving and ambitious business with an excellent proposition and reputation. You would report directly to the Managing Partner who would work closely with and support you in your role.

The role is for a four month period and for the right person part time and flexible options exist.

Skills and Experience

Have an excellent understanding of the role of the Finance Director in businesses at varying stages and during transactions

Exude gravitas, composure and a reassuring confidence

Redoubtable professionalism and easy manner, able to work on own initiative and remotely

A talent for understanding, connecting with and assessing people - not only in relation to core finance skill sets, but also in terms of what motivates them and what they love doing

A strong relationship-builder, who is naturally collaborative and motivated to help others to be successful

Superb verbal communication skills and the ability to be a persuasive ambassador for an innovative firm and new ideas

Committed to excellence and used to meeting very high professional standards

Flexibility to take on whatever is required, to complete the job and move the business forward

At least 5 years of recruitment or talent management of Finance Directors, Chief Financial Officers or senior accountancy professionals (Partner etc) in a professional firm or agency with an appropriate CIPD qualification
