Our client is a world leader in supplying total engineering packages to solve the industry's needs. As the world's largest independently owned they specialise in a broad range of bespoke heavy steel forgings and steel castings as well as stocking steel ingot and bar.

They believe in continuous development and comprehensive learning opportunities for their employees. Here is where you come in, they currently have a new and exciting opportunity for an experienced L&D coordinator to be incorporated into the existing HR, Learning and Development team.  

Supporting the Training Manager within the learning and development division you will take a proactive approach in ensuring our employees have the knowledge, training and motivation to carry out their work activities efficiently and in line with best practice. 

Responsibilities of this position include delivering comprehensive inductions for new starters, coordinating annual and ad hoc training requests and updating and maintaining all training records. You will also coordinate training for all apprentices and support the delivery of the work experience placement programme. 

The successful candidate will have experience in a similar role and ideally, have an Training & Development NVQ 3 or equivalent and a CIPD L&D award or certificate. You will also have soil experience in identifying, delivering and evaluating L&D needs and have attention to detail, excellent communications skills and be computer proficient.
